McKee Foods, a provider of snack cakes, ready-to-eat cereals and crackers, has selected Workday to manage HR and payroll for its 6,500 US-based employees.
McKee Foods is now live on Workday's human capital management (HCM) and Payroll systems. Workday replaced an aging on-premise HR and payroll system that no longer met the company's needs and had become expensive due to growing hardware, upgrade and maintenance costs.
McKee Foods is achieving cost savings from its Workday system through the elimination of much of the IT infrastructure required to support on-premise HCM and Payroll.
Mark Newsome, senior corporate HR manager at McKee Foods, said: "McKee Foods selected Workday as our HR and Payroll system of record because the product and technology are superb, but also because of Workday's unwavering commitment to our success as a customer. That commitment has been proven out through every step of the deployment process. With Workday, McKee now has the most modern, innovative HR and payroll system available a platform that will support our company for many years to come."
Dave Duffield, CEO and chief customer advocate of Workday, said: "Workday has delivered a world-class, SaaS-based HCM and Payroll suite that offers customers a real alternative to expensive, complicated on-premise systems. We couldn’t have come so far so quickly without the amazing support and commitment of customers like McKee Foods."
